Pondering
I was talking with my mom the other day about Christmas and told her that I didn't want anything for Christmas this year for two reasons: 1. I don't have the money right now to spend on everyone for Christmas and 2. that's all Christmas has become is who gets what and who did you buy for. I think as Christians we have forgotten why we celebrate this day it's not for the presents but for the ONE present that we need to accept and that's the Lord Jesus Christ. Stop and think for a minute if we couldn't buy anyone anything, what if you didn't get any presents at all? To me I wouldn't care because I have accepted the greatest present of all Salvation and that's all that matters.
Please remember this Christmas season that it is not who gets what or who you didn't get to buy for but it is about our salvation and Jesus Christ.

The kids and I were just talking about this. We were saying how next year we want to either go on a cruise or just exchange home made gifts. :) I love the idea of giving something you made with love and forethought.
Merry Christmas!
