Update

Hello all just wanted to update you on Katelynn's condition...she is doing much better. We took her for a chest xray and found out that she does have bronchitis which is ok now we know how to treat it. Everyone else is battling the cold that we all get when we live in Florida; you know the one where your running the heat for 3 days then you have to turn on the air so I'm trying to head off everyon else getting sick. Abbie is doing well she is very proud of herself she won a race that they had in her class so she is now the fastest girl in her class. Still trying to figure out how to get her to like doing school work and working on her letters. She is so smart but she get's bored real easy so when we are trying to work with her she deliberately frustrates us so we don't want to do it anymore, so in a way yes I've been outsmarted by a four year old. Taylor is the mother hen of the whole group which is really funny. She tries to take care of all of us. She also reminds Abbie constantly that she is not the boss of her and not to tell her what to do which is really amusing to watch her tell Abbie that. Charlie's birthday is on Saturday, so mom is going to watch the girls for us so I can take Charlie out to eat with out the kids. He says that's the only thing he really misses is being able to go out to eat and actually eat without threatening someone ( if you know what I mean). Hope everyone is doing well Love Ya

Katelynn

Well I don't now but it seems lately when I post it is just nothing happy. Please pray for little Katelynn, she has been very sick and they can not figure out what is wrong with her. She has had a bad cough with some chest wheezing now for about 6 weeks. Charlie took her to the dr on Friday and he put her on a steroid and nebuliazer treatments well they aren't working. So today he ordered a chest x ray hoping to figure out what is wrong with. It's hard when you know they are struggling to breathe and they can't tell you what is wrong. On top of that Abbie and Taylor are now getting sick due to the weird weather we keep having. So please just pray that God will touch our girls and heal them. Love Erin

Randomness

Just some pictures of the girls growing up. The first one is of their new playet that Charlie's parent's bought them for Christmas. The gingerbread house they made with Grammie one night and they were so proud of it, and then the one with all three of them is us getting ready to go somewhere. I can't believe how big they are getting. This morning was a frustrating morning and my loving kind husband that he is says aren't you getting a little loud and bossy? Of course in my head I'm the one that has been getting up at 530am so everyone can have lunch, clothes laid out and breakfast made including him; it's Friday and I'm tired and ready for the week to be over. So I took a step back and said to myself they will only be this little for a season then they will be gone so shut up and deal with it. I've been praying and I am asking for all of you to please pray I am going to try to get a job with the school system as a secretary. I have my application in for one right now so hopefully I will get a call sometime about it. I love my job that I'm in now but I need something that is more flexible so I can be with the girls if I need to. Abbie will be starting school well VPK next year then kindergarten and I want to be able to be off with her on her breaks and what not. I don't want to be the mom that always ships her kids off to the baby sitter or daycare. So I'm just praying about it if it isn't supposed to happen then well I guess I'll stay put and enjoy my job and try to do with her class as I can. Please keep praying for Charlie's job so far they haven't laid him off so that is a good sign. One day he would love to go and work for the Sheriff's department in the jail so I just pray one day he can do what he wants to do. I know this sort of sounds like a downer but we really are doing well and everyone is happy just one of those mornings that all it does is make you thik. Love and miss everyone!!!!

Bead is out

Just wanted to thank everyone for praying Dr. Milstead was able to get the bead out of her nose yesterday with out having to do surgery. She just numb her nose a little, blew some air up her nose and then was able to grab it with what looked like to me a pecan pick. The funny thing is that it wasn't even round it looks like a triangle. Thanks again for praying!!!!

Bead in the nose

Just wanted to write real quick, please pray for Taylor, she put a bead up her nose on Saturday night ( no colleen not the one's you got her). I took her to the ER and all they did was make her little nose sore and push the bead further up there. So I am waiting on an ENT to open so I can try to make an appt for her today. We think that because it is so far up there that she might have to have minor surgery to get it out. So just pray that all goes well, sometimes I joke and tell her that she should of been a boy for all that she gets into. Anyway I will up date you when I know something.

Waiting on the Lord

Last night when I got home from work Charlie told me that his job will probably end either today or tomorrow, his company is really in bad shape and is going to do more layoffs. To show how bad it has gotten they've taken all the equipment off the trailers and have lined everything up and seeing what they need to sell etc. SOOO I know that the Lord has everything under control but we just thru something like this about 6 months ago, not really wanting to go thru it again. The bad thing is that where we live there really is no work for what Charlie knows so he is now talking of relocating where I don't know but he said that is just about the next option he is at. So please just be in prayer for our family and we journey thru this. Love Erin

Happy New Year

I guess that I'm not really good at this whole blogging thing but hey I really try. We still haven't gotten the internet back at home so I do this all from home so that is probably why I'm not so faithful with this. I guess I need to update everyone on what is happening at our house: Charlie-- well he still has a job but it is still up in the air. As we all know the economy is really bad and it is only going to get worse till the Lord comes back so we just keep praying that while we are here on this earth that Charlie still has a job! He enjoys what he is doing but would really like to get a job at the Sheriff's office working in the jail it would just be more stable for him so we just keep praying that it will happen. Abbie-- is just getting bigger and smarter. Her teachers at school tell me to watch out that she is really smart and is going to go far so we are thankful for that. We've even had to start talking in "pig" latin around her and then sometimes I wonder if can understand that. Taylor--- I really think she should of been my boy because she is just rough but she can so sweet at times. I wish we could get her potty trained but she just isnt' interested in it at all so we just keep trying, hoping and praying that one day soon it will click with her. She is also really smart.. she can count to 10, say all of her abc's and then try to mother the other two. Katelynn--well she is now 4 motnhs old. She is trying to teeth already so maybe she will be my baby that has teeth before she is 2 :). She is also really trying to make conversation now and her and Taylor really go at it's really cute to watch. Me-- well I still work for a therapy office as the front office coordinator. I like it but it's not something that I want to do for the rest of my life. I really want to go back to school to become a nurse or even work for the school system that way I can be off when the girls are off, but no school anytime soon have to get the kids a little bigger. I decided though that I was going to loose all of the baby weight that I've put on the last 5 years so I've started Weight Watchers and have about 70 pounds to loose. I guess that is about it I will try to post pictures tomorrow so you can see how big the girls are getting. We love and miss everyone.

To be Thankful

The past week has been a crazy one to say the least, a fun week but boy was it crazy. Joy and the kids came down and we got to spend sometime with them and I'm very thankful for that we don't get to see them that often so when they come here it's great. On Sunday I had everyone over to my house which was a lot of fun. It's funny to see Colleen and Uncle Reg play with my kids the way they used to play with me. I hear them do some of the same things with the girls and I laugh because I remember how mad I would get like when they would spell to me,they haven't started that with them yet but I hope they do. These are the memories that you enjoy. I wish that we could go down to Aunt Sharon's house on Thursday but we will be with Charlie's family but we will be there for Christmas. It's fun to see the girls get excited over the holidays and see how much they changed in the last year. Seven years ago I thought all my hopes and dreams were over when I lost Wayne but it's only gotten better. I am very thankful for my life now I have a beatufil family a dream that I had since I was a little girl like Abbie and Taylor. I would have to say that my quiver is full and I am truly blessed with a wonderful family. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!!

Just some thoughts

I can not believe it that we are already headed into Novemeber and Thanksgiving is right around the corner, where has the year gone? Yesterday, I went with the girls on their candy walk at school. They take the kids thru the main hospital offices and the employees give them candy so they had a good time. Abbie was a Snow Princess and boy did she ever play the part, Taylor was a Bumble bee and she loved her little stinger that was on her costume and Katelynn was a Flower it was pretty neat. Grammie (my mom) got to go with us and I think she had fun. Tonight is the Chili Cook-Off and Charlie and I will be going to it with no kids woo hoo. I'm not sure what I am going to do about Thanksgiving... I've been trying to alternate what holiday we spend with who and it's just been getting crazy. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Everyone around here is doing good just growing like weeds, wish they would slow down. I'll post the pictures later of what the girls looked like for halloween. Love and miss everyone!!!!

Some Pictures

Here are some more pictures of the girls. I all you have to do is click on the big picture and it will change. I love the one of them on the motorcycle it reminds me of when Uncle David would take us out on his when I was little. The one where you see the girls in the grass or looking up they were flying a kite for the first time and they had a blast. Love Y'all

Finally an update on our family!!!!

Ok, so I am really bad at this whole thing, but it really doesn't help that I don't have the internet at home either so I sort of have an excuse. Just wanted to updated everyone on the Fletcher happenings. All of us are doing well and I think have adjusted to Katelynn being here. I went back to work on 10-13 after taking 6 weeks off and that was hard leaving her but I survived. Charlie is going to have some testing done on his hands, they keep going numb and they do believe it is carpal tunnel but not real sure so please pray for that. Abbie and Taylor are just getting bigger and bigger and smarter. Abbie is in the "younger" Pre-K class at school and some of things that she comes home and tells me just makes me wish there was a way to keep her little, she is so smart. Taylor is in the 2 year old class and nows all of her colors and can count to 10 all by herself along with a long list of things that she can do. I look at her and can't believe how fast she is growing. Katelynn well she is growing. To me she looks like Abbie did but I can see both girls in her. She is starting to smile at things that we say to her and she is laughing at us. She still doesn't like to sleep thru the night so mommy get's real tired round Thursday!!! I guess that is all for right now I will write more I PROMISE Auntie and keep everyone posted on our family.

It's a GIRL!!!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to get this posted but I went to the doctor on Monday and the verdict is in and we are having another GIRL!!!!! She is still due Sept 14th but we need to really pray for mommy. We need to pray that my placenta moves up to the top in the next 8 weeks or it could be a real problem. The doctor said hopefully it will but if it doesn't that means I have to be watched real close. I will keep everyone updated on the situation!!!!

New Look

As you can see I am in the process of getting this thing to look better. Keep your eye out for new things and if there is something that you would like to see more of please let me know. Hopefully I will be able or will make time to keep this up!!!!

Night Time Play

Tonight after dinner the girls were playing and of course whatever the one has the other one of course needs. I was folding clothes while the chicken was cooking and while doing that I was trying to empty the many baskets that some how filled themselves full of clothes. Anyway, Taylor has this thing about baskets don't know but if it's empty she will find it and play in it. The basket has little holes in it but it's as big as she is so when she puts it on her head it looks like a basket moving by itself. I was sitting over by the computer looking outside and she comes walking over with her little fingers sticking out of the holes and growling it was just too cute. SO, of course Miss Abbie went and got her sleeping bag (of course having to out do her sister) and Charlie put it over her head and zipped it all the way down and she walked all over the house it looked like a pink cousin "IT" (that hairy thing off of the Adam's Family). The funny thing she never bumped into any walls. Another cute thing they did tonight was the turned the clothes basket upside and took one of their blankets and put it over it like a tablecloth. Then they went and got all of their dishes and made themselves a little picnic. It was really cute they sat their and fed each other. Just thought that I would share those little things that they did tonight. Tonight was one of those quiet nights which come few and far between right now for some reason. Hope this finds everyone well. Love, Erin

Family Update

So sorry that it has been so long since I posted life is just busy!!! Everyone is doing well. Abbie and Taylor are growing like weeds and teaching me new things everyday. Charlie is doing well . I'm growing as to be expected. I am due on September 14 but as we all know that I normally don't go to the end so this baby will probably be early. We still don't know for sure what it is yet, Charlie thinks it's a boy but we go for an ultrasound on the 22nd of this month so hopefully we will find out then and yes I will post it when I find out. Taylor is going to be two this month and I can't believe it. She moved up to the two year old class early and loves it. She's a big girl now and is talking more and more. Abbie moved up to the older three's and is very happy. Right now they are learning about the weather and comes home and teaches us what she has learned. I hope that all of you are doing well and I will be posting more this weekend with some Easter pictures.

Baby # 3 on the way!!!!

Well now that my computer is somewhat fixed I see that my wonderful cousin just exploded with the news ( which is ok by the way) but yes we are excepting baby # 3. The baby's due date is September 14 which is a week after Abbie's birthday so she is just really excited that she can have her birthday cake and then the baby will be here or so she thinks. I have told her that the baby might be here earlier seeing I do have a track record of having babies early. I went to the dr on the 24th of January and we saw the little heart beating but I will go back for a check up on Feb 21st and will post that ultrasound pic. I will have an ultrasound everytime I go so you'll see the change with us. Charlie is excited he hopes that it's healthy but I think he also sort of hopes for a boy this time but he said that he will be happy with whatever God gives us :) I haven't been throwing up just feeling nauseated alot but then last week I got bronchitis which knocked me for a loop. I barley worked last week but on top of it I lost my voice!!! So I tried to squeak my way thru the week which my mother got on to me for but I still barley have a voice which is just aggravating now. Taylor is happy I guess about the baby she kisses my belly and rubs my belly I don't think she totally understands yet but she will when I get even bigger. I will post more as the baby grows!!!! Love Erin
